Suki joined Consilium in 2017, having previously worked as a specialist biopharma journalist for more than 15 years. During this time, she reported on all aspects of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medtech sectors including M&A, R&D, regulatory and commercial news. Suki interviewed global leaders from across the healthcare sector and attended science, business and policy conferences all over the world. She appeared on TV and radio to commentate on industry strategy and has chaired numerous panels at various industry events.

 

Prior to her career in journalism, Suki completed a PhD and postdoc in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at UCL and worked in research labs in the US and UK.

 

What is one thing people do not know by looking at you?

I was born in the beautiful coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya.

 

What is your proudest professional achievement?

Embracing a completely new career at the age of 45!

 

What motivates you at work?

The fact that helping my clients communicate effectively has a direct impact on their success, and their success means better clinical outcomes for patients with unmet medical needs.
